Latitude Technologies is a Tasmanian based company that started out providing specialist consultancy services for Antarctic research, Antarctic research support operations and meteorology.
We decided to widen our reach by moving out of consulting activities and progressing to:
(1) development of a series of integrated, resource efficient, open products and solutions for use by a wide range of individuals and organisations; and
(2) provision of specialist, high-level support to the Council of Managers of National Antarctic Programs (COMNAP).
|
Our philosophy is to develop and use simple, streamlined, effective solutions to real problems with emphasis on:
(a) integration;
(b) resource efficiency; and
(c) open formats, standards and technologies.
Through our activities and the use of our products and solutions, we are committed to providing significant savings to clients and to positively contributing to resource saving and improved sustainability.
We also remain
committed to actively contributing to the open, internationally
collaborative nature of the Antarctic Treaty System and to efficient
and low impact operations in support of Antarctic research.
